Who We Are
The Story of One Stop Medical
One Stop Medical was established in 2005 in Mackay. At that time the Practice started with one nurse/practice manager and one receptionist providing support services to one GP.
Since then, our practice has grown to a team including a Practice Manager, 3 Nurses, 6 GP Receptionists, 1 Occupational Health Technician and 3 occupational health team receptionists. We are currently able to provide support services to 8 General Practitioners and 1 Occupational Health Specialist within our Practice rooms.
The Occupational Health Specialist provides occupational health services such as Coal Board Medical and Mining Medical for several local mining towns including Moranbah, Dysart, Middlemount, Glenden and Emerald.
The Occupational Health Practice support team are well trained and provide a superior level of support to the Occupational Health Specialist. Some of the onsite tests that can be conducted include hearing tests, lung function tests and urinary testing.

We have a great team of receptionists at One Stop Medical, who are there to help you make an appointment with your chosen doctor.
They can personalise treatment plans that target a variety of medical issues whilst also looking out for potential health problems.
Our Philosophy
One Stop Medical is committed to providing excellent support to the Doctors who provide services from the Clinic. The Doctors practicing from One Stop Medical provide usual GP services, and also specialised Youth Clinics.
The Practice believes in supporting our local community and encouraging fitness and wellness, by sponsoring Mackay Triathlon Club, Mackay Hospital Foundation, Mackay Community Foundation, Pioneer Tennis, and the Whitsunday Voices Literary Festival.
